On Saturday, 31 October, we're heading to Muntele Albu and the Buila Ridge, in the wild and spectacular Buila-Vânturarița National Park, one of the most beautiful limestone ridges in Romania. 🏃 Trail Running Team 📏 14 km / ⛰️ 1,300 m elevation gain 🥾 Hiking Team 📏 10 km / ⛰️ 1,100 m elevation gain ⚠️ This is a challenging route, suitable only for participants with previous mountain experience. Expect steep climbs, rocky terrain and narrow limestone passages, rewarded with some of the most impressive views in the Southern Carpathians. 🐷 And now, the surprise of this trip! After the activities, we'll gather at a local gastronomic point, hosted by Mrs. Crina Iordache, for a truly authentic Romanian experience. Following an old village tradition, the pig is slaughtered in the morning, and the meat is cooked that same day into "pomana porcului" and many other traditional delicacies. Come hungry, it will be a feast to remember! 🕕 Departure from Bucharest: 06:30 📍 Trail start: Valea Otăsăului 🚗 Ride-sharing will be organized among participants. 💰 Participation fee: 170 lei / person The participation fee includes: ✔️ Event organization and coordination ✔️ Guidance throughout the route ✔️ An authentic local meal, prepared from the pig slaughtered that day, 2 dishes (one of them is POMANA PORCULUI), drinks and followed by a homemade dessert. Not included: ✖️ Transport 🧾 A fiscal invoice is provided. Payment is accepted only by bank transfer. Limited places available. Guidelines •⁠ ⁠This route requires previous mountain experience and good physical condition. It is not suitable for beginners or people with medical issues. •⁠ ⁠Please inform the organizers in advance about your mountain experience and any relevant limitations. •⁠ ⁠ou should be comfortable moving in a group at a steady pace on steep and rocky terrain. •⁠ ⁠If you cannot maintain the group's pace, you are responsible for returning safely on your own. •⁠ ⁠The main goal of the event is socializing and enjoying the mountains, not performance. •⁠ ⁠A WhatsApp group will be created two days before the event for coordination. •⁠ ⁠Participants aged 14 and over may join only when accompanied by a parent or another responsible adult. •⁠ ⁠Alcohol and any psychoactive substances are strictly prohibited during the activities. •⁠ ⁠Please follow the organizers' instructions at all times.
